FORM is a national grassroots organization primarily engaged in education and outreach concerning the issue of same-sex marriage.

Read Judge Chang's decision in the Hawaii case, Baehr v. Miike. As a summary, in the words of Evan Wolfson, "We Won -- BIG."

House of Representatives DOMA Roll Call -- Find out who voted for and against DOMA (The so-called Defense of Marriage Act) in the House of Representatives.

FORM highly recommends William Eskridge's book, The Case For Same-Sex Marriage. William Eskridge is a member of FORM's Honorary Board.

There are three ways to get involved in FORM:

  2. Join the FORM mailing list
  3. Start a FORM chapter in your area

FORM provides a number of resources to help you become better-informed about same sex marriage.

FORM provides resources and training to similar locally based groups throughout country.

FORM exists as well to facilitate and support the efforts of individuals, whether legal or legislative, that advance the cause of same-sex marriage in the United States.

When feasible, FORM will work in concert with gay and lesbian political groups to optimize organized efforts to attain same-sex marriage rights.

There are many different avenues to attaining marriage rights; everyone has something to contribute. Whether you choose to work with FORM, one of the other local or national organizations, or simply on your own, the important thing is to get out there and be involved! Of course, we are always here to help out with ideas, implementation, and coordination of work at all levels.
